in-house screen printing
In 2023, we invested in a new printing facility at our Mysore unit. This has allowed us to substantially reduce the carbon impact of our product as we now screen print most of our products in-house, in one of the bright and airy units where our bags are cut and sewn. It has also provided livelihoods for an additional 12 people.
We print using only GOTS certified water-based Pigment and Acrylic inks, are fully solar powered and also operate an environmentally approved closed water system for our printing. Any water discharged is treated , so it can be used to grow plants in our creation unit garden. This water also recharges the groundwater.

our digital printing partners
Digital printing offers a modern and innovative way to apply designs to our fabrics. It allows PSD or Tiff artwork files to be printed directly from computer onto fabric by way of a large ink jet printer. Each print head, much like a paper printer, ‘jets’ the ink onto the fabric as it passes over it. Images will be sharp and with high accuracy.

traditional wax bed printers
We support a small rural unit that works in a traditional and highly skilled way. Fabric is expertly laid on 22m long waxed tables and printed by hand, one colour at a time. Almost all our fabric wraps are wax bed printed as this method allows clean cut lines and detailed, multi colour images. We use only water based pigment in our wax bed printing facility and have invested to ensure the water treatment is to standard.
